About Me

Allen Mock is a Tokyo-based producer working between bass music, techno, electro, and other rhythm-driven forms. His debut album Epoch is built as a reversible record, designed to be played forward or backward while retaining its overall arc. Heard from the front, it moves from bass-heavy weight into groove and rhythmic complexity; in reverse, it folds back into bass music.

At its center, Epoch acts as the midpoint between those two states. Rather than moving away from bass music, Allen Mock’s work holds bass weight and rhythmic movement in tension, reflecting a sonic voice that sits between physical impact and drum-focused precision. Across his releases, that balance has become a defining thread, shaped by repetition, tension, polymeter, and controlled motion.

His releases have appeared on Atlantic Records, Parametric Records, YUKU, Quality Goods Records, Circus Records, Bassrush, Wormhole Music Group, Wubaholics, Spicy Bois, Trekkie Trax, and Ophelia.
